Vintage kantha SHAWL, pure silk, scarf, stole, hand quilted, silk

This is a large size pure silk wraps or large size stole made by hand quilting two large pieces of vintage, printed, pure silk sarees. Those two saree sections have been hand quilted together using straight stitches called Sujani Kantha. This is a one of a kind, reversible silk shawl, large scarf, or stole. This hand-quilted silk material can also be used to stitch window dressings, framed as a tapestry, bed runner, table runner, cushion covers, or other home decor projects. The last two listing pictures show the front and backside of the shawl.

This is a vintage item. Minor imperfections and evidence of wear that may exist are considered to add to the charm of each of these scarves or stoles.
